Time Attack Round 1

The first round of the new Time Attack series saw the very best the UK tuned cars come together in a tense shootout around Rockingham circuit. With an exceptional 1:32.89 lap, the Type-25 had set the fastest time of all the saloon cars, only later beaten by the open top Dax Rush. full details

Time Attack Round 2

Despite our victory in Round 1 we knew that round 2 at Silverstone would be our most difficult test in the cars’ current spec. Phil pulled out a sensational lap and despite suffering from a misfire down both straights dropped his best time by 0.7 seconds to post a superb 1:03.655 placing us 4th overall. full details

TIME ATTACK ROUND 3 - 2nd in 4wd Class / 2nd Overall

Time Attack Round 3

Scotland’s famous Knockhill circuit was the venue for the 3rd round of the Time Attack series. As expected the local Escort Cosworths set the pace posting exceptional laps of 55.191 and 55.953 seconds, but Phil rocketed out of the final hairpin and across the line setting his fastest lap of the day with a 55.476. We were delighted with 2nd especially given the nature of Knockhill. full details

TIME ATTACK ROUND 4 - DNF - Engine Failure

Time Attack Round 4

Going into the penultimate round of the Time Attack series our 8 point championship lead meant that we only need to score 3 points more than our nearest rivals Norris Designs and RC Developments to secure overall victory. We knew that their mighty Mitsubishi Evo’s would relish the chance to revisit Silverstone’s long straights so we had been working on closing the engine power gap. These Evos run in excess of a staggering 840bhp and 930bhp respectively so much development was needed. full details
